   Twined mortar basket with open bottom. Tapers to be wider at top, smaller at bottom. Three brown bands of designs surround basket, with the top band alternating tan and brown triangles, the middle band rectangles and bottom band squares. Probably contains willow and redbud plant material. Red and white paper label on side says, "A 44/Pomo/15.00" -- rest of writing is somewhat illegible but possible says, "Ko/Coll".

On opposite side, one leather loop, and one piece of leather attached (was longer; break in strap).
